If you’re looking for some walking inspiration, then the October issue of Country Walking magazine is packed full of ideas, along with a booklet of National Trust walks from all over the UK, including my own route around the impressive Attingham Park, near Shrewsbury. It’s only 4 miles, is graded easy, and best thing of all – there are a couple of NT tea shops to stumble into, on the way round, to keep you from flagging!
