Horsey Snapper

The weather over the past few days has been changeable – to say the least, and during wilder weather the horses on the Long Mynd often drop into the valleys for shelter.

It was while doing my walk today that I spotted several of them on the side of the valley, soaked from the latest shower. The sky above had a lovely mottled effect and so I thought it would make a great WeatherWatcher photo.

However, some other horses had put a smile on my face as I wandered along the track that drops into Carding Mill Valley. Down below, beside the car park, a couple of horses had discovered that the bench for the tourists was perfect for scratching that hard-to-reach itch 😝 (Excuse my fingers getting into the shot at the start.)
