Firstly, can I disappoint you now by declaring that I am not the same Simon Whaley who is a professional footballer and plays for Preston North End. I couldn't kick a ball into a goal to save my life. I much prefer words - I can kick them where I want them to go...generally. Sometimes they bounce off the goalposts, but like anything in life, practise makes perfect, and I've been practising for over 20 years now.
