Yesterday was such a a dismal day, which for sad for those setting off at 1pm on the 24-hour Long Mynd Hike challenge. But today … today was glorious – just what competitors needed for the downhill stretch after climbing some 8000 feet. Here’s the view over the Long Mynd, seen from Ragleth Hill – the last of the hills on the 50-mile route.
