  • Aunt Agatha's Cleansing Powder - 3rd in the Swanley Scribbler's Short Story competition -April 2006.
  • Just Don't Tell Her In Charge - final shortlist in King's Lynn Writers' Circle Competition.
  • Wish You Were Here was shortlisted in the Writers' News Postcard Competition in September 2003.
  • We'll Meet Again gained a Highly Commended in the National Association of Writer's Groups short story competition in 2004. 
  • Blindingly Foggy won first prize in the April 1998 Writer's News competition.
