Here in the Welsh Borders we’ve still got some snow hanging about. If you look carefully on this BBC WeatherWatcher photo, you’ll see a smidgen of white in the top right on the Long Mynd.
And all the locals refer to a local saying: “It’s hanging around for some more to take it away.” And the weather forecasters are hinting that there could be another cold snap to arrive over Easter. Despite being past the Spring equinox here, winter hasn’t packed its bags and left just yet. Which just goes to prove all those Londoner friends of mine were right: the Welsh Borders …. we get a lot of weather up here!
