WRITING FOR MAGAZINES
at Llangoed Hall
Llyswen, Brecon, LD3 0YP
A truly impressive building dating from 1632, Llangoed Hall formerly known as Llangoed Castle, strikes an imposing picture in the Wye Valley near the village of Llyswen, in Mid Wales. Set within 17 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, it is the ‘home from home' that you would expect from your ‘best friend's Country House'. Where better to inspire your creative muse?
Writing for magazines can be an interesting and financially rewarding hobby. There are hundreds of magazines on the newsagent’s shelves every week and they all need to be filled with words, so why not your words? Whether it’s a few dozen words for a Letters or Tips Page, or a thousand or more for an article or short story, it’s possible to break into the magazine market, get published, and get paid!
Writing for Magazines will show you the tips and tricks on how to study a magazine to establish where the best chances of publication are, and the type of material to submit. The course will then show you how to approach your work, write it and present it professionally to enable you to compete with the other professionals – like me!
