Wet Wool

Wet Wool

I found this piece of sheep’s wool, caught in some barbed wire, which had been drenched in the overnight rain, and was now being spun dry in the ever-increasing winds again. It made me realise how much the sheep are having to put up with in this really warm/wet winter we’re having. How many times does wool get washed and dried, before it’s been cut from the sheep, I wonder?
