Hello!
Come in. Pull up a chair. Take the weight off your feet. Welcome to my website, and to the beautiful Welsh Borders. If you don’t know where the Welsh Borders are, head north from London, turn left for Birmingham, and then keep heading west, but stop before you reach Wales. Easy!
I write articles, short stories, books and I take photos too. Well, when you see what the scenery is like round here, it’s difficult not to be inspired. Much of my feature and photography work is inspired by my surroundings: the landscape is important to my work. For examples of my work check out the Landscape / British Travel page, or click on the publication links on the right.
If you want to know the latest, then check out my NEWS page, and my Blog from the Borders takes a look at what life here in the Welsh Borders can be like at times.
Oh yes, if you live in the West Midlands region you might see some of my BBC WeatherWatcher photos on the regional weather forecasts, although they have also been spotted on the national forecasts too!

Any budding writers should check out my dedicated site packed full of useful articles, links and help: The Business of Writing
And if you want to know a bit more about my background then head to About or click on my mugshot to the right. Got any questions? You can Contact me on this link. I’ll try to respond as quickly as I can, but please remember … we writers have deadlines from time to time, and they tend to take priority, especially as they loom ever closer!
Many thanks,
Simon
