A couple of weeks ago (I’ve been away and this has been my first opportunity to post something!) I was invited by the Shropshire Federation of WI to run a creative writing workshop for a day, where some of their members could stretch their creative muscles.

The Gleanings – Writing for the Magazine Market
My thanks go to Kate, Carol, Julie, Avis and Barry who all got into the spirit during my weekend course at The Gleanings, last weekend. On Saturday, the weather was absolutely glorious, with the view stretching across the Shropshire countryside to the Devil’s Chair on the Stiperstones. Unfortunately, the weather on Sunday was not as good, and we found ourselves playing “Spot the Stiperstones’ between the rain clouds.
