You should never put yourself in danger when taking a photograph. And I didn’t, when I snapped this rainbow above Caer Caradoc from the top of Ragleth Hill. But I didn’t make it back down Ragleth Hill without incident. Rainbows mean rain, and the ground was saturated after several days of the wet stuff.

Snapper Simon Snaps Soft Sunset over South Shropshire Slopes

I had a rather surreal experience late yesterday when I was walking back from my evening stroll. A gentleman passed me on the other side of the road, acknowledge me and said, “saw you on the national news the other night.”

“Really?” I replied. “I didn’t know one had been used.”

“It was definitely a Snapper Simon photo,” he confirmed, then continued on his way.

The surreality of it though came from the fact that I knew not who this gentleman, was, yet somehow he knew me as Snapper Simon!
