We get a lot of weather in the Welsh Borders. But this didn’t stop me doing my walk this lunchtime. Although, I soon questioned my wisdom of going out in the rain when there were also several strong gusts of wind. Hold onto that umbrella tightly!

You should never put yourself in danger when taking a photograph. And I didn’t, when I snapped this rainbow above Caer Caradoc from the top of Ragleth Hill. But I didn’t make it back down Ragleth Hill without incident. Rainbows mean rain, and the ground was saturated after several days of the wet stuff.
Last week I took myself off to Pembrokeshire – a popular destination for those of us who live on the Welsh Borders. It’s a stunning part of the British Isles, and a region that also get sits fair share of weather, much to Snapper Simon’s pleasure.
